This album was recorded between February 2007 and February 2008. The finalization occured the final week of January 2008.

Utilizing older and fresher gear alike, with newer technology and older alike as well, this album’s one year of creation started with a simple idea of experimenting with time signatures and BPMs. In the process, with time constraint, a few of the experiments made the final cut, while the remainder of the bulk happened to be recent ideas or old ideas alike that somehow fit the duality meant for the album itself.

The album’s intention was meant to cause awareness of current events in the United States as well as cause a draw for a want of change. The duality behind it was in fact self-reflective, growing up and realizing things I had gone through in my lifetime mimed in parallel the very current day.

With the intent shortly after the original release of February 5th, 2008, the album became available on digital outlets such as Amazon and iTunes, and many other digital outlets made available for placement via TuneCore.

And so with the minimal information provided, here is the full extent of that one year, in high quality MP3s, provided standalone or as a packaged ZIP file.

Also, if you wish to donate money to the project/cause, the money you donate will go into equipment, touring, merch, and anything art/music related. No donated money will be dispersed elsewhere. Equipment covers computers, music instruments, electronics, and so forth. Touring covers travel expenses such as gas, food, and lodging if required. Merch covers the orders of such items as t-shirts, hats, stickers, and all that crap you usually can get from websites like Cafe Press and so forth.

To donate, access the PayPal website, and login to your account. If you don’t have one, that’s ok as well! Donate via your PayPal or with a credit card to: brandonsills@gmail.com. The process should be painlessly easy.

Any donation amount is ok, even if it’s a penny. It still goes towards Arcane Addiction entirely. And if you donated at least 50 USD, I want you to email me so I can retrieve your name or alias for crediting in the 2nd album, due out in 2009!
